As a Certified Gerontological Nurse, I have worked in long term care for over 25 years. I started as a Nursing Assistant in my teens and have held a variety of roles including 12 years experience as a Director of Nursing. I recently completed my term as President of the Minnesota Directors of Nursing Administration and continue to be very active in several long term care committees and work groups. I came to St. Anthony as a nurse consultant and loved the facility so much, I decided to stay!

I live in Crystal and enjoy spending time with my large, blended family. I am an avid sports fan, with season tickets for the Timberwolves, Vikings, and Gophers basketball (I even had a Vikings themed wedding). I am also very passionate and active in raising awareness and fundraising for Breast Cancer research and will be participating in my seventh Breast Cancer three-day 60-mile walk in 2011.
